The Beanie Story: Where Quality Meets Kinship

 

The heart of Beanie's Woodshop lies with our founder, Daylin, known affectionately to his favorite critics (his nieces and nephews) as "Uncle Beanie."

As a passionate woodworker and a very proud uncle, Daylin grew tired of the modern cycle of disposable toys. He saw gifts that only survived a year, broke due to poor quality, and inevitably ended up in a landfill. He yearned to create something different for his loved ones: gifts that were meaningful, tasteful, and durableenough to be passed down through generations.

The true inspiration struck one day when Daylin found a small, stackable wooden train at a garage sale. While charming, its cheap construction told him it wouldn’t survive the energetic play of a toddler for long. This became the spark! It inspired him to create his own version—toys that are simple, incredibly sturdy, and built to last a lifetime.

Every toy that leaves our shop, from the classic train to every other design, is made by Daylin's own hands with care, patience, and love.
